Supervising Sessional Academic Staff

Course description

This workshop will be of particular interest to Topic Coordinators. It will provide information and ideas to assist leaders of teaching and learning in their daily interaction and leadership of staff. It also includes information on working with and supporting sessional staff.

Issues to be addressed include:

  • planning for academic improvement
  • developing a learning culture
  • supervising and supporting others, and
  • giving and getting feedback.
