Course description

M365 Copilot Trial Onboarding and Baseline Training 

As part of your trial license through the AI for Research or AI for Research Support schemes, this onboarding session will help you get started with Microsoft 365 Copilot and support your broader exploration of AI in your research and everyday work. 

Session Objectives:

  • Understand the Trial/Scheme Framework: Learn how this initiative supports research innovation, capability building, and ethical AI adoption at Flinders University.
  • Microsoft 365 Copilot at Flinders: Hear about current initiatives, practical applications, and opportunities for experimentation and project advancement.
  • Core Skills and Responsible Use: Receive practical guidance for effective, ethical, and secure use of Copilot, in line with Flinders’ Position Statement on Artificial Intelligence in Research at Flinders University
  • Hands-On Demonstration: Participants will be able to observe and explore real-world application of Microsoft 365 Copilot, with opportunities to engage directly if they bring a laptop.

What to Bring: Bring your laptop if you'd like to click and explore Copilot in real time as we move through the session.
