Getting the most from citation indicators - Web of Science and Incites

Course description

Web of Science and InCites are key research tools that can be used to analyse researcher citations, journal impact and benchmarking

This session will focus on using these tools to view and analyse researcher outputs, including:

  • creating a Web of Science profile
  • using citation indicators wisely (include the new Beamplot feature) and
  • benchmarking against other research groups, institutions, countries and within a field of research.

Participants are encouraged to create a Web of Science ResearcherID before the session to get started on using these tools to view and analyse research publications.
