Snake Awareness Workshop

Course description

Presented by Geoff Coombe's Living with Wildlife.

This 90 minute information session provides answers to many of the most common questions about snakes.

The Flinders community has the privilege of a campus with abundant wildlife and natural features, making it an attractive place to work.  The habitat is also attractive to snakes and warmer weather creates an environment for snakes to be on the move.

It is important for staff to be aware of how to respond if they spot a snake, and this course will assist with tips and strategies to ensure safety on campus.

Please note - there will be *live snakes* at the session, but there is no requirement for any participant to handle them.
