Electronic Lab Notebook: Advanced FieldMark Training

Course description

Flinders’ new Electronic Lab Notebook (ELN) solution is launching soon, providing an easier and more secure way to capture, organise and access your research notes and data.

The Electronic Lab Notebook includes two connected applications, RSpace and FieldMark. Both will be available to all researchers and HDRs across all disciplines.

RSpace provides a robust platform for recording laboratory and desktop research, while FieldMark delivers the same seamless experience in field environments, including reliable offline functionality for remote work.

This Advanced FieldMark Training is designed for Principal Investigators, Lab Managers and Technical Leads working in the field, this session builds on core skills in notebook setup, data export, file and team management, access control and troubleshooting.

Please note: Principal Investigators, Lab Managers, and Technical Leads are required to attend both the Basic and Advanced sessions, as these cover essential navigation skills and notebook management. For the FieldMark app, the Advanced session is delivered first because it covers notebook setup, followed by the Basic User Training which focuses on using an existing notebook.

If you are unable to attend the sessions, a webpage with user guides and instructional materials will be available to support your use of RSpace and FieldMark.
