European Funding Opportunities - Horizon Europe

Course description

Horizon Europe is the world's largest research and innovation programme with a budget of €95.5 billion.

Join this information session to hear about how you can access European funding from Horizon Europe.

This in-person session will be presented by Nishant Shandilya, Regional Coordinator - Australia and New Zealand for EURAXESS Worldwide, an initiative of the European Commission that addresses barriers to the mobility or researchers and seeks to enhance scientific collaboration between Europe and the rest of the world.

Highly relevant to Australian researchers as Australia is ranked:

  • 3rd amongst Non EU/AC National for the number of Marie Sklodowska-Curie Actions Fellows
  • 5th amongst Non EU/AC Nations for the number of European Research Council Grantees

The session will cover:

  • EU R&I Framework Program - Horizon Europe
  • European Research Council (ERC) Grants and Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA)
  • What are the key requirements for funding
  • how do apply for funding

There will be time for questions and answers.
