Introduction to Nectar Cloud

Course description

The Nectar Cloud is a versatile cloud computing infrastructure that has been made available to researchers at Flinders University through the Australian Research Data Commons (ARDC) and the Office of the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Research).

Hear from Pro Vice-Chancellor (Research Enterprise and Infrastructure), Dr Fabiana Santana on the national framework for research infrastructure, and Dr Scott Anderson on how Nectar Cloud can enable you to achieve your research goals. 

This session will provide an overview of Nectar Cloud and a demonstration of how to use it for your research, including:

  • Use cases,
  • Access,
  • Capabilities,
  • Do and Don’ts.

This information session is supported by the Innovation Central Adelaide (ICA), and Kathryn Anderson, Program Director, will join to explain how the ICA can assist you in connecting with industry and enterprise.
