NewsBank: Enhance your teaching & Research with news resources

Course description

Join us for a live demonstration and training session, including a Q&A, on our newest library subscription, Access Global Newsbank. 

Newsbank provides full-text access to a wide range of news content sourced from local, state, national, and international publications. It includes one of the largest collections of Australian news, featuring over 800 sources, including major, community, and regional publications.  

  • This session covers some essentials of using NewsBank, including: 
  • Introduction to the NewsBank and how to access it 
  • Searching within NewsBank using keywords and filters 
  • Search within or browse a specific newspaper title 
  • Accessing different versions, including full-text articles, web-only content, and PDF image editions 
  • Q&A
