Research Support on the Road - Darwin

Course description

A team of research support professionals from Bedford Park campus will be visiting the Darwin campus to meet with researchers and research support staff. We hope you can join us to learn more about the research support available to you, raise any issues and ask questions, and to increase the connection between the campuses.

The team visiting Darwin are:

  • Lynette Kelly—Chief Research Development Officer
  • Karen Burke—Research Partnerships Director and Deputy Chief Research Development Officer
  • Peta Pool—Director, Strategic Research Profile and Engagement
  • Mary Rieger—Manager, Research Grants & Tenders
  • Gemma Wilson—Digital Content Producer
  • Jen Beaudry—Manager, Researcher Training, Development and Communication
  • Rebecca Keough—Institute Manager, FHMRI
  • Hannah Foster—Library Specialist (Scholarly Communication)

During this visit, they will:

  • Provide information about research support areas
  • Discuss available support for researchers
  • Meet individually with researchers to discuss any questions they might have, and
  • Identify gaps in the research support systems.

On Tuesday afternoon, you can arrange for one-on-one meetings with our visitors to discuss your research needs and any issues.

On Wednesday, we will facilitate an interactive Flinders’ Research FastStart on the Road. Flinders’ Research FastStart is our researcher induction program that provides an overview of the structure, function and support provided by your partners in research. While aimed at researchers new to Flinders University, this program is also an excellent refresher for researchers who have been at Flinders University for a while and would like to be informed on the latest research related services and support across the university.

We hope you can join us at the CDU campus! We understand that not everyone will be able to meet in person, so please contact us if you need to join remotely.
