Designing case study / scenario tasks for PrePlace an online Work-Integrated Learning program

Course description

PrePlace is an online prepatory program for use by students prior to undertaking a Work-Integrated Learning placement.  A key component of PrePlace, located in FLO, is the use of case study / scenario based assessment tasks that ask students to consider a situation and identify an acceptable solution.  Each task is linked within PrePlace to extend students understanding, and promote comprehension of the content's underlying message.  This workshop provides an opportunity for University staff involved in WIL to work independently on developing a case study / scenario, including responses specific to their discipline.  Participants will then work in small groups (3-4) to test and refine these tasks.
