Course description

Flinders Elders on Campus Dr Uncle Lewis Yarlupurka O’Brien and Dr Uncle Richie Balang/Japaljarri Fejo, will share their wisdom and insights post the national referendum for a Voice to Parliament and their vision following the Australian Universities Accord report which call for ‘First Nations people to be at the heart of the higher education system’. The Elders’ will reflect on their vision for community and share how Indigenous philosophies and Knowledges can ground future thinking in higher education.

Informed from Kaurna and Larrakia worldviews this forum will provide the opportunity to reflect with Uncle Lewis and Uncle Richie on how two-ways Indigenous and western education can shape the higher education sector into future.
