Course description


Get expert, personalised R support from Dr Ankit Beniwal, Intersect's Digital Research Analyst for Flinders University.

Book a one-on-one session for in-person or online consultation to strengthen your data analysis and research workflows.These sessions are designed to help you:

  • Resolve R and RStudio issues faster
  • Translate existing SPSS code into R for further data analysis
  • Perform data wrangling (data cleaning, analysis, and visualisation) 
  • Implement statistical methods in R
  • Build confidence in applying reproducible research practices 

Appointment Details:

Flexible appointment options available to suit your schedule:

  • In person (Fridays): Training Room 157, HDR Central, Level 1, Central Library, Bedford Park
  • Online (Monday-Friday): via Zoom (details will be sent after booking).

To make the most of your session, please have your R/RStudio installed on your laptop, and dataset/scripts ready.  For online sessions, please also be prepared to share your screen.

    Weekly Drop-In Sessions for Research Support 

    Stuck on a stubborn error code, or trying to figure out the best way to clean your research data? Don’t battle it alone – drop in and get it sorted!

    While the primary focus of these sessions is on R/RStudio, you can also drop in for support with: 

    • Data & Analytics: R and Python 
    • Surveys & Data Collection: Qualtrics and REDCap 
    • Qualitative Analysis: NVivo 

    No formal booking required. Join a weekly drop-in session that suits you.  

    Day: Every Friday 

    Time: 1:00-2:00 pm

    About Ankit:
    Dr Ankit Beniwal is Intersect’s Digital Research Analyst (DRA) for Flinders University in 2026. He holds a PhD in Physics from the University of Adelaide and has held multiple post-doctoral positions in Europe. His technical expertise includes Python and R, complemented further by proficiency in qualitative research tools like Qualtrics, NVivo, REDCap, etc.
