Thesis Writing Discussion Group

Course description

This is a group for HDR students to get together and discuss their thesis writing. In these sessions, each student has an opportunity to share their research, ask questions, as well as seek and provide feedback from others. It is a great way to learn about the process of research, discover new methods and make new connections. 

Facilitated by the HDR Education Coordinator, it is an opportunity to share ideas and strategies about your writing and research, ask questions and connect with their peers across the university, from different disciplines and stages of candidature.

The group meets every four weeks on Fridays from HDR Central, and you are welcome to join in person or online. All HDR students looking to connect, learn and share with others are encouraged to attend - particularly our external and part-time cohorts!

The discussion is facilitation online through the HDR Connect Team, which all HDR students are encouraged to join.
