Course description

This training session will enable legal researchers to develop the essentials skills required to search, retrieve and download relevant documents from Westlaw AU and Westlaw.

Law academics or others who are teaching topics in law or undertaking research. Library Staff assisting students or academics in searching Westlaw AU and Westlaw.

What you will learn

•         Westlaw AU Training (Australian content) to run from approximately 10am-10:45am:  learn to search for a case, locate unreported and reported case law, search for a provision of an Act or Regulation, locate and retrieve related cases.
•          Westlaw training (International content)  to run from approximately 10:45am-11:30am:  learn to search for a database in Westlaw, browse international & NewsRoom content, conduct global and advanced searches and navigate search results.
