Writing the front page of your ARC grant application

Course description

The session will help you to articulate the first page of you project to clearly highlight:

  • The significant gap in the research or important problem to address,
  • How your project will fill the gap using clear aims,
  • The innovative approach or methodology, and
  • The benefit and outcomes from the project.

Current College of Experts Member, Professor Colin Raston, will be joining the session to explain the importance of a having a captivating front page of your project description.

Professor Raston has also been a Chief Investigator on more than 30 ARC funded grants including Discovery Projects (e.g. DP170100452), Linkage Projects (LP150100225) and Linkage Infrastructure, Equipment and Facilities Grants (e.g.LE190100161).

Flinders’ Research Community based in rural and remote locations will be able to access and participate in the workshop. Please indicate if you are from a rural or remote location when enrolling or contact Kirsty de Ruyter at researcherpd.rds@flinders.edu.au.
