ARC DECRA & Future Fellowships: Bid strategy and grantscraft

Course description

This session will help you to prepare an Australian Research Council (ARC) DECRA or Future Fellowship application. 

Presented by Nicole Thompson, Research Advantage Consulting, this session will cover:

  • Overview and drivers for the schemes
  • Lead-in, calibration and timing of application attempts
  • Troubleshooting ARC's streamlined track record configuration
  • Troubleshooting ARC's streamlined project configuration
  • Application Summary and NIT
  • Strategic alignment
  • Pathways to independence
  • Take-home messages for writing a strong application

You are encouraged to attend this session if you an early career researcher who is considering applying for a DECRA fellowship or are a mid-career researcher who is considering applying for a Future Fellowship.
