Using Adobe Illustrator to Create Graphics for Your Research

Course description

Finding graphics that fit your research that include the necessary details can be challenging.

In this session, Traci Klarenbeek, Digital Media Advisor, will give an overview of the Adobe Illustrator platform and introduce the key features of the software.  Traci will demonstrate:

  • how to use key features and how to apply these techniques for research images. 
  • how to take existing pictures and make quick and easy manipulations to achieve results while maintaining their visual quality. 
  • the commonly used tools in Illustrator and quick tricks for fast manipulation of images, so you can learn to create images that meet your needs.

There will be time for discussion and a guided lesson for you to create your own graphics in Illustrator.

This session will be held in person in a computer lab equipped with Adobe Illustrator. No need to bring your own computer.

We will send you a calendar invitation closer to the date.
