ARC: Strategic Advice for Discovery Projects EOIs

Course description

Are you interested in applying for a Discovery Project from the Australian Research Council (ARC)?

As you may already be aware, in 2024 there were some major changes to the Discovery Projects scheme for funding commencing in 2025 (and beyond). The scheme now runs as a two-stage application process, beginning with an Expression of Interest (EOI) comprised of a 2-page project description and a streamlined ROPE section.

Presented by ARC College of Experts members with experience in reviewing EOIs, this information session is designed to help you write a compelling and concise EOI.

The presenters will explore:

  • Advice for writing your project description,
  • Advice for writing about your team and ROPE, and
  • Lessons learned from their experience in reviewing EOIs in the latest round.

This session will likely be a hybrid session. You will receive a calendar invitation with further details prior to the session.

If you have any questions, please email researcherpd.rds@flinders.edu.au.
