This session will provide an overview of animal ethics and a summary of requirements relating to animal research at Flinders University.

Topics of discussion will include:

  • Animal welfare history and regulation
  • The structure of Animal Ethics Committees
  • How to apply for your research ethics approval at Flinders University
  • Your responsibilities as a researcher
  • The 3Rs
  • Training and competency

 This session will be run online via MS Teams and a link will be sent to you prior to the session.
