ARC Linkage Projects: Strategies to write and submit a successful application

Course description

This session will prepare you to apply for an Australian Research Council (ARC) Linkage Project. 

This session will include information about the scheme and provide strategic advice to develop a partnership and craft a strong application. This session will explore:

  • Scheme overview 
  • Submission and success rates
  • Choosing the team - eligibility and requirements for Partner Organisations and contributions
  • Budgets and justifications
  • Key dates and resources

Brad Budgen, Senior Research Grants Officer, will lead the session and will be joined by Melissa Gregory, Research Development Coordinator. 

Brad and Mel will be joined by two recipients of Linkage Project grants: Professor Sally Robinson (College of Nursing and Health Sciences) and Associate Professor Martin Polkinghorne (College of Humanities, Arts and Social Sciences). Sally and Martin will discuss their experiences with applying for this grant and offer advice to applicants.
