The presenters will talk about the university’s expectations, the role of the supervisor, the candidate and the editor, the national guidelines for editing and proofreading RHD theses, editing standards and best practice principles.

Issues to be addressed and discussed: During the session, a sample text will be distributed to identify problems from the candidate/editor/supervisor’s perspective and to illustrate the distinction between the supervisor’s and editor’s input.
