Using FLO data to understand student engagement (Learning analytics)

Do you wonder if your students are engaging in the activities you set for them, if they have viewed the videos you carefully record or if they have uploaded the assignment and simply forgotten to hit submit when they said they did? Were you aware you can find answers to these questions and more via FLO. If you would like to know more about how you can access information about student engagement in FLO come to this session jointly presented by the learning designers and academic developer for HASS and BGL.

Using Rubrics

This session acts as a semi-structured workshop in which some overview content is presented, some scaffolded activities are provided and a question and answer time is provided. The session will explore the purpose, use and value of rubrics, present some opportunities to explore rubric content, and a brief look at how to use rubrics in FLO to enhance the grading experience for students.
