The session will cover researcher’s responsibilities for work involving gene technology, hazardous microorganisms and other hazardous biological samples.
Attendees will gain an understanding of the role of the Institutional Biosafety Committee (IBC) and IBC application processes, biosafety regulatory requirements, physical containment facilities, biosafety risk management, and transport, storage and disposal of biological samples.
