Project - Introduction

Course description

This course is not currently being run.

This product is only available on PC.

Modern project management techniques have been in use for more than 80 years. They have been significantly refined over that time, particularly in applications by large organisations such as NASA. You don't have to undertake such large projects to benefit from their use. As a methodology, project management can be helpful in managing projects of any size.

Microsoft Project is a tool that applies this methodology to your data to make your projects manageable. It does this by automating the arithmetic involved in building project plans, tracking work completed, and accounting for variances from your plan. It can produce professional charts and reports, and do a whole lot more to help you get your project completed on schedule and within budget.

Microsoft Project software will need to be purchased via IDS. Go to https://assyst.flinders.edu.au/assystnet/application.jsp#services/73 and select the version you require.
