Every publication contract involves a clause about copyright. This session will help explain what you are agreeing to in those publishing contracts and what's normal to expect. When publishing open access, you'll often be asked to make the decision about copyright by choosing a Creative Commons licence, we'll cover all of the licences so you can choose the right licence for your research.

Researchers and HDRs who plan to publish in journals
You will come away with an understanding of how copyright ownership works with publications, including how and when copyright is transferred to publishers and what it means when you publish open access.
