Course description

So you’ve found a great research team in a university to help you work on problems you need to solve to grow your business. Working with a strategic university partner can supercharge your business – unlocking access to outstanding research, to prototyping, and to support and funding to grow your business fast.

Presented by Jane O'Dwyer, CEO of Cooperative Research Australia, this session will draw upon case studies and a conversation with an SME who have built and grown long-lasting relationships with universities, covering issues like how to build a successful partnership, expectation management, IP and joint funding bids.

Jane will be joined by Cameron van den Dungan, CEO Sleeptite and Dr Andrew Tucker, Director Research and Development, Sleeptite.
