WriteSkills: Editing and Proofreading

Course description

WriteSkills is an intensive language support program for international and non-English speaking background RHD candidates. It aims to assist candidates with their written and oral communication skills and provide academic support and guidance throughout their candidature through individual and group sessions to address the following topics:

  • academic language and writing styles
  • thesis structure and argument
  • grammar and expression
  • editing and peer review

All eligible candidates can book individual sessions with an academic adviser through the RHD FLO site.

This workshop is a small group discussion covering strategies to effectively edit and proofread your writing. Participants are encouraged to bring their own writing and any specific questions or issues they have.

All sessions are held in Room 212, Central Library.
