FLO: Quizzes

Course description

The quiz tool in FLO is powerful and can allow you to design and build quizzes consisting of a large variety of question types, and configure to deliver those questions in a variety of ways. This workshop will

  • explain how the question bank and the quiz work together to store and deliver questions as a quiz
  • demonstrate how to build 4 common question types
  • provide an opportunity to experience a quiz containing a variety of question types
  • provide an introduction to quiz settings
  • demonstrate how to set up 2 common types of quizzes (a formative and a summative example)
  • provide information on tasks that maybe required for the administration of a quiz

What you will learn

By the end of this workshop you will be able to

  • explain how questions, the question bank and quizzes relate to each other
  • setup and manage categories in your topics question bank
  • build and test 4 common types of questions
  • move questions between categories in the question bank
  • set up 2 common types of quizzes
  • add questions, random questions and modules (sections) to quizzes
  • test and edit quizzes
