NHMRC: Preparing your Investigator Grant - workshop by The GrantEd Group
Course description
This workshop is open to health/medical researchers preparing an NHMRC Investigator or Synergy Grant application. Choose either this full day workshop for comprehensive coverage of the scheme or the half day NHMRC: Preparing your track record (to focus only on preparing your track record) or NHMRC: Preparing the impact case study of an Investigator Grant workshop (to focus only on your track record).
This full day workshop will cover all aspects of responding to the track record criteria (publications, leadership and research impact case study), in addition to the knowledge gain (research proposal) criterion. In particular, this workshop will assist researchers to:
- understand the calibre of researcher they are competing against and self-assess their readiness
- write compelling, clear, succinct, and persuasive applications that best demonstrate:
- their leadership, best five publications in the past 10 years and impact as a researcher
- the expected knowledge gain of the research (quality and significance of their research proposal)
