This Asbestos Management training session has been
specifically prepared and tailored for Flinders University and the ACM
situations that typically exist within Flinders University buildings constructed in
the asbestos era.
The session for Flinders University Facility Management, Capital Delivery, Strategic Planning and IDS personnel runs for approximately 2-2.5 hours.
The training will lead attendees to have a higher-level
understanding of asbestos in general, types of Asbestos Containing Materials
(ACM) and asbestos risk.
In addition, the training will include reference to SA Work Health Safety (WHS) regulations in
regard to management of ACM primarily in relation to project management of
building refurbishments and ACM removal.
