Learn the WHS procedures for working with Plant

Understand how to undertake a plant risk assessment

Understand the University's requirements with respect to electrical safety.

This course is delivered as both 'face to face' and 'on line'.

Note: if enrolling for an online course please disregard the dates and times as these are irrelevant as you can do the course at any time at your leisure.

30 minute video of Plant Safety followed by 10 multi choice questions
10 minute video of Electrical Safety video followed by 8 quiz questions.

College of Science and Engineering Staff and students working with plant in laboratories and identified by their supervisors at the time of induction as needing to do training in this area.

NOTE: you must complete the quiz and multichoice questions by the deadline listed in the course heading. If you require an extension then please make your request to cse.whs@flinders.edu.au before the cut off date advertised. If you have not completed the quiz by the cut off date then your enrolment will be deleted and you will then need to re-enrol.

Prerequisites / assumed knowledge

To gain access you will need a university FAN.
