ARC Industry Fellowships: Strategies to write and submit a successful application

Course description

This session will prepare you to apply for an Australian Research Council (ARC) Industry Fellowship. This session will be relevant to those applying for an Early Career, Mid-Career, or Laureate Industry Fellowship.  

This session will include information about the schemes and provide strategic advice to develop a partnership and craft a strong application. This session will explore:

  • The Industry Fellowships scheme 
  • Key sections of the applications & the assessment criteria
  • How the Industry Fellowships differ from other Fellowships (DECRA, Future, and Laureate Fellowships)
  • Submission and success rates
  • Choosing the team - eligibility and requirements for Partner Organisations and contributions
  • Key dates and resources
  • Advice from successful applicants on developing a strong partnership and application.

Brad Budgen, Senior Research Grants Officer, will lead the session and will be joined by a member of the Research Partnerships team, as well two recipients of ARC Industry Fellowships, Dr Simone Deegan (College of Business, Government and Law) and Dr Georgina (George) Wood (College of Science and Engineering).

You are encouraged to attend this session if you are planning to apply for an ARC Industry Fellowship. 

This session will be run via online via MS Teams. A link will be sent to you via calendar invitation prior to the session.
