Professor Thierry
Corrège,
Regional Director, CNRS Representative for Oceania, will focus on the French National Centre
for Scientific Research (CNRS), which covers almost all domains of science
through ten institutes. He will discuss the collaborative opportunities
available and will discuss the tools CNRS use to foster and support
international collaboration.
Nishant Shandilya, Regional Coordinator for EURAXESS Australia
& New Zealand will focus primarily on the European Union's Research &
Innovation Framework Programme—Horizon Europe and delve deeper into Pillar I
(Excellent Science) and Pillar II (Global Challenges). He will also discussion
the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA), European Research Council (ERC)
Grants, ERC's Implementing Arrangements with NHMRC & ARC as well
as NHMRC-EU Collaborative Research Grant Scheme. He will also present a
high-level overview of Pillar II to showcase how and what involvement in
collaborative research grants would entail.
Lynette Kelly, Research Partnerships Director, Flinders
University, will discuss the benefits of expanding your funding opportunities
to include international research, the value of forming international
collaborations, and the support available to researchers at Flinders who want
to build an international profile.
This session will be offered in a
hybrid format; those attending in person will have an opportunity to network
over morning tea.
