Mid-Career Researcher Forum with DVC(R)

Course description

The Mid-Career Researcher Forum with the DVC(R) provides an opportunity for mid-career researchers (9-15 years post-PhD) to come together to discuss the current research environment both nationally and at Flinders. 

You will hear brief updates from each of our speakers and will have an opportunity to ask questions of:

• Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Research), Professor Raymond Chan
• Dean of Graduate Research, Professor Tim Cavagnaro, and
• Chief Research Development Officer, Simon Brennan. 

At the request of previous attendees, you will also hear about the career and journey of a successful researcher at Flinders with a particular focus on their challenges and accomplishments as an MCR. 

Registration is essential. Morning tea will be provided. 

This event is not recorded in order to encourage open and frank discussion.
