Meet the Funder: Channel 7 Children's Research Foundation

Course description

The Channel 7 Children’s Research Foundation is a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to enriching the lives of children through research. Their grant funding program focusses on health, education and wellbeing and is underpinned by an ambition to help every child live the happiest and healthiest life they can. The Foundation is also passionate about retaining and fostering research talent and career opportunities in South Australia and dedicate their entire annual funding to state-led research. 

Foundation representatives Greg Ward, Executive Director, Paul Jury, Chair and Professor Kevin Forsyth, Research Committee Chair, will be joining us to share:

  • Aims of their awards program including an overview of research grants, enabling grants (co-funding) and fellowship programs 
  • Insights into application/proposal requirements, assessment processes and life cycle of awards
  • Q&A plus networking

Researchers with broad expertise, from all colleges are encouraged to attend.

This session will be held in person in the Alere Function Centre, L2, Student Hub. Rural and remote colleagues or those who are unable to attend in person, please contact researcherpd.rds@flinders.edu.au.
