NHMRC Grants Overview and Other Health Funding Schemes

This session will provide an overview of NHMRC and health research funding opportunities and tips for applying strategically.

Presented by Lucy Sheehan-Hennessy, Senior Research Grants Officer, this session will investigate:

• What funding schemes are available for health research?
• What timelines do I need to know about?
• What support is available to me?
• What should I consider when applying to different grant schemes and funding agencies.

Lucy will be joined by a successful researcher, who will share their experiences with applying for health research funding opportunities and offer advice to applicants.

There will be time for questions and discussion.
