NHMRC Outreach: Recent Developments in the NHMRC
Course description
National Health and Medical Research Council Executive Director Outreach Session
Presented by Julie Glover PhD, Executive Director, NHMRC, and her colleagues, this session will provide an update about what has changed in the last few years and what changes they foresee for the NHMRC in the future.
In particular, Julie and her colleagues will discuss:
- The ins and outs of the current grant assessment process,
- Updates on current and recent consultations,
- The MRFF and MREA consultation,
- The Good Institutional Practice Guide,
- Indigenous Research Excellence Criteria,
- Statement on Consumer and Community Involvement,
- Any anticipated or forthcoming changes to Investigator and Ideas grants, and
- Updates on the gender equity strategy (2022–2025).
There will be time for questions at the end.
This session will be run online via MS Teams. A link will be sent to you via calendar invitation prior to the session.
