The course contains mandatory content for all new staff at Flinders University as well as links to additional information and resources, including further mandatory training.

The course is presented in modules designed to provide you with the information you need in your role:

  1. Welcome to Flinders University - All staff
  2. Induction for Academic staff
  3. Induction for Professional staff
  4. Induction for Supervisors
  5. Course evaluation

All staff must complete Modules 1, and then either the Academic or Professional induction modules as appropriate.

Staff with supervisory responsibilities are required to complete Module 4.  While Module 5 is optional, we would very much appreciate your feedback.

Who should attend

New Academic and Professional staff members, within 3 months of commencing employment. Supervisory training to be completed within the first 6 months of employment.

There are also specialised training modules for new staff with supervisory roles.
