Optimising your ORCiD - Flinders Library

Course description

Flinders University Library wants to help you Optimise your Open Researcher and Contributor ID (ORCiD®) & get the most out of your online academic presence.

Once Optimised, your ORCiD can help ensure that:

• You are connected to your research activities throughout your research career.
• You are not confused with other researchers with similar names/initials etc.
• You are complying with submission requirements of many publishers and funding bodies such as ARC or NHMRC.
• You can take advantage of automated services and features such as directly exporting your ORCiD linked research activity directly into ARC Grant Applications.

Please have your ORCiD & current active password ready to use in the workshop.

(If you are experiencing trouble accessing your ORCiD, please contact the Library several days before the workshop so that we can help you troubleshoot any issues you are experiencing gaining access to your account.)
