Course description

Presented by Meg Schwarz (Consumer Advocate, Member of FHMRI Consumer Reference Panel), and Evelyn Bennett, Consumer Engagement (Research Support Officer), Flinders Health & Medical Research Institute (FHMRI), this session will explore:

  • Who are consumers and what role do they play in research?
  • How to identify, recruit and work with consumers?
  • How do you navigate power imbalances in consumer/researcher partnerships?
  • What should consumer involvement look like in grant applications?
