Process documentation provides a detailed description of how to carry out a business process and is used to help employees at all levels understand an organisation's processes.  These documents reduce variation in the way a process operates.

This workshop focuses on the fundamentals of process mapping and provides guidelines for writing effective standard operating procedures (SOP).

This workshop will improve participants' ability to process map an end-to-end business process using BPMN.  By the end of this workshop, participants will:

  • Understand how to define and scope a process.
  • Learn how to map a process using Business Process Mapping Notations (BPMN).
  • Find out about the key components of an SOP document.
  • Discuss best practices and common loopholes.
