ARC Rejoinders: Preparing a Response

Course description

The purpose of the ARC Rejoinder process is to allow applicants to respond to assessment comments made by external assessors. This also provides an important feedback mechanism that can help researchers when drafting future applications.

Presented by Brad Budgen, Senior Research Grants Officer, this session will focus on:

• How to approach the rejoinder,
• What not to include in a rejoinder,
• How to layout and structure the rejoinder, and
• How to use the right writing style.

Brad will be joined by Professor Vincent Bulone, Pro Vice-Chancellor (Research Performance & Impact) who has experience as an ARC College of Experts member.
