Social Media for Researchers

Course description

Social media can be an excellent tool for researchers to promote their research and share it with a wider audience.  

In this session, Simone Baker, Social Media Coordinator, will give an overview of different social media platforms and discuss how to harness social media to promote your research. Simone will also explore how to effectively engage with audiences to build a following as well as how to use social media for research impact.

Simone will be joined by Flinders researcher, Professor John Long, who will share his experiences and advice.
