Flinders' Media and Communications team (Office of Communication, Marketing and Engagement) together with Research Development and Support present 'Social media for researchers'.
Social media can be an excellent tool for researchers to promote their research and share it with a wider audience.
In this session, Karen Ashford - Director, Media and Communications will give an overview of different social media platforms and discuss how to harness social media to promote your research. Karen will also investigate how to effectively engage with audiences to build an following as well as using social media for research impact.
Karen will be joined by Flinders’ researchers who are established social media experts and together they will share their experience and advice.
This session is
recommended for new or novice social media users who are looking to build
their online presence in research.
