Social Media for Researchers

Course description

Social media can be an excellent tool for researchers to promote their research and share it with a wider audience.  

In this session, Yaz Dedovic, Media Relations Manager, and Simone Baker, Social Media Coordinator, will give an overview of different social media platforms and discuss how to harness social media to promote your research. Yaz will also explore how to effectively engage with audiences to build a following as well as using social media for research impact.

Our presenters will be joined by Professor John Long, an established social media expert, who will share his experiences and advice.

This session will be run online via MS Teams and a link will be sent you via calendar invitation prior to the session.
