Social media can be an excellent tool for researchers to promote their research and share it with a wider audience.
In this session, Karen Ashford - Director, Media and Communications and Eliza Oatway, Social Media and Digital Marketing Coordinator will give an overview of different social media platforms and discuss how to harness social media to promote your research. Karen will also investigate how to effectively engage with audiences to build an following as well as using social media for research impact.
Our presenters will be joined by Flinders’ researchers who are established social media experts and together they will share their experience and advice.
