Vice-Chancellor's Awards for Research Information Session

Course description

The Vice-Chancellor has a suite of six awards to recognise researchers of all career stages across all Colleges. These awards recognise, reward and encourage research excellence as well as research that has considerable impact outside of the academic community.

Please join us to learn more about the awards from Dr Jen Beaudry, Manager, Researcher Training, Development and Communication. Jen will describe the guidelines and eligibility conditions for each award. 

You will also hear from past award winners who will speak to: 

• Why they decided to apply,
• How they crafted their application, and
• Any advice they have for future applicants. 

The six awards for research are: 

• Vice-Chancellor’s Award for Early Career Researchers
• Vice-Chancellor’s Award for Mid-career Researchers
• Vice-Chancellor’s Award for Research Leadership
• Vice-Chancellor’s Award for Research Impact and Engagement (Early Career Researcher)
• Vice-Chancellor’s Award for Research Impact and Engagement (Mid-career Researcher)
• Vice-Chancellor’s Award for Research Impact and Engagement (Research Team)

These awards will open 9am on Monday 1st July 2024 and will close 5pm Friday 30 August 2024.

This session will be run online via MS Teams. A link will be sent to you via calendar invitation prior to the session.
